Updates-September 30th

Hey North House,
How's it going? Ayaa here with some important updates and reminders.
Core Classes:
Friday:
  • During "House", we will finish our Five Minute Presentations, as well as discuss our books with our Lit. circles. We will also have a house competition (either Capture the Flag or Volleyball) during 4th block, so don't forget to wear (or bring) comfortable clothing. Wear sneakers, too!
  • Because of today's 4 core rotation, we will be having house pretty much all day, with the execption of elective.
Monday:
  • Don't forget that we will be making our Case posters in Purther's class.
  • The first Aleks assesment (quiz) will be due Mon. October Fourth. Try not to ask for help so that your assesment shows Ogden where you currently stand. The make up for Quiz 1 is also this Monday, in Ogden's room after school.
Clubs!
Don't forget that three of our seniors have started clubs on campus.
  • Be sure to check out the I-poly Companion Club in Ortega's room. Give back to our community by mentoring underclassmen, especially the freshmen. Any quetions? Ask either Ortega or Eric Torres.
  • Check out the Tutoring Club in Melogno's room everyday in lunch. Be tutored or be the tutor. For details speak to David Rodgers.
  • Wanna show off your artistic talents? Head on over to the Ipoly Illustraters' Guild in Pang's room. For details contact Pang or Leo Mendoza.
ASB/Senior Fundraising:
Don't forget that our wonderful class reps are selling pizza in the quad at lunch every Monday and Thursday. Be sure to buy a slice; the money raised goes towards the senior class. Sierra is also selling muffins on Fridays, the money made will also go towards the senior class. Be sure to buy some during House when all the good ones are still there.

Any questions? Anything you want to add? Just put them in a comment below. Bye for now, Ayaa A.
P.S.  Does anyone have a clearer version? This one isn't very focused.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Sup guys, Patty here.

I'm sorry if I do this wrong but i'm doing my best. Here goes nothing.

Hey North house, it's your buddy Patrick here. Just posting some reminders and updates. Let's see what we've got coming up..

Spirit week is this coming week so dress accordingly. Also, your underwear do not qualify for consideration, so for any of the days during spirit week, don't even try it.

  • Monday: Stuffed Animal day (pretty self-explanatory bring a stuffed animal)
  • Tuesday: Camouflage day (wear something camouflage, and for those who don't know what that is, dress like a soldier)
  • Wednesday: Neon day (wear neon colors and stuff. Bracelets, shoes and socks all count)
  • Thursday: Animal Print day (wear anything with an animal on it or like zebra stripes/cheetah spots...you get it)
  • Friday: Class Color day (If you actually have to ask, leave i-poly)
Some other things to know are that every friday Sierrah Gonzalez is bringing muffins to sell, and every monday and thursday, ASB is selling pizza in the center of the quad.

Also keep an eye out for more information regarding the I-poly Illustrators Guild club that Mr. Pang will be hosting, and the Poetry Club that Ms. Ortega will be hosting. The Senior Project updates should be pretty updated on the other entry. Other than that, have a good night, and I really hope people end up reading this.

Peace
